In an exclusive interview with The Knot, lovebirds Noah Lyles and Junelle Bromfield gave more details on their high profile wedding scheduled to happen in Spring 2026. The highly anticipated wedding of track power couple Junelle Bromfield and Noah Lyles will be one for the ages as the lovebirds have revealed the theme for the upcoming luxurious occasion. In their first magazine cover interview with The Knot, Bromfield and Lyles gave never-before-heard details on preparations for their wedding. "The theme of the wedding is All Things Melanin, All Shades Melanin," said the Jamaican 400m queed who is an Olympic and World medallist. "I wanted everybody in the wedding to be all shades of melanin, not just the bridal party because I love my skin complexion. I love my hair, I love everything about being black," she said. Bromfield further stated she'd love for only Jamaicans to be in charge of everything about her look on the day. "I'm trying to get like, like, as much Jamaicans involved as possible. So my makeup artist can be Jamaican or from the Caribbean, got my dress Jamaican, everything. "I want black children out there in Jamaica to know that they're beautiful, and they need to know to love themselves. And no matter what people say, only the people around them matter," she concluded. Lyles and Bromfield started talking as friends in 2012, but in 2022, they took their relationship to the next level when he asked her to be his girlfriend. He proposed to Bromfield in October 2024 in a private, romantic setting attended by close friends and families. Shortly afterwards, they bought their first house. Their engagement made news headlines globally, and now people can't wait for their spring 2026 wedding, which is anticipated to have the same global effects. Both champions in their rights, Lyles is the Paris Olympics and World 100m champion, while his fiancee is also an established athlete who's a two-time Olympian. They've been together for over two years and are regarded as one of the power couples in track and field.
