Super Falcons skipper Rasheedat Ajibade is the latest to celebrate Nigeria's Super Eagles after their impressive win against Rwanda in a key 2026 FIFA WCQ.
Super Falcons captain Rasheedat Ajibade, known for her vibrant blue hair, joined the wave of celebrations following the Super Eagles’ commanding victory over Rwanda.
Led by Victor Osimhen, the Eagles handed Eric Chelle the perfect start to life following a comprehensive 2-0 win against the Amavubi in a pivotal 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifier on Friday.

The Nigerian women’s team skipper took to X, formerly Twitter, to shower praise on her male counterparts, who secured their first win of the qualifying campaign in Kigali, thanks to an Osimhen brace.
Ajibade’s message was short, sweet, and packed with belief: “We no doubt una. Come on boys!”
Her words reflected the confidence and bond between Nigeria’s footballing heroes, as the Super Falcons leader rallied behind the Super Eagles’ resurgence under new coach Chelle.
The win, which saw Osimhen strike twice, first from an Ademola Lookman cross and then with a clever finish past Rwanda’s goalkeeper, lifted Nigeria to fourth in their group, just two points off second place.
The Super Falcons star’s public show of support showed the unity within Nigerian football, with Ajibade’s voice adding to the chorus of pride echoing across the nation.
Her trademark flair, both on the pitch and with her distinctive hairstyle, shone through as she cheered on the “boys” who delivered when it mattered most.
For the Super Eagles, the salute from one of Nigeria’s brightest female stars is yet another boost as they look to build momentum in their quest for a 2026 World Cup berth.
Ajibade, like the rest of her Nigerian compatriots, will be hoping that the Eagles will build on that win with another three points when Nigeria host Zimbabwe next on Tuesday.
