17th century Midland pub badly damaged in fire goes up for sale

The Three Tuns pub on Alcester High Street is up for auction after a major fire gutted the building in April 2021.
A popular boozer in the town, it has stood proud since the 17th century. The Grade II listed building is now on the market with a guide price of just £100,000. On sale with Sheldon Bosley Knight, Auction on Wednesday 7th May at 6.00 pm at Hinckley Golf Club.
The agents state, "The Grade II listed former public house known as The Three Tuns has enormous potential, situated on the popular high street of Alcester."
They add, "The property has been extensively damaged so internal inspections are not possible due to health and safety considerations, however, we will be happy to arrange a site visit through the Auction department by appointment only."
Since the fire scaffolding has been erected around the building for the last four years and locals have described the property as, "A blot on the landscape."
