Paris Olympics track stars Sha'Carri Richardson, Noah Lyles, and Gabby Thomas were in their fashion elements as they rocked the red carpet at the 2025 Met Gala. The prestigious fashion event at the Metropolitan Museum of Art on May 5, witnessed A-list celebrities in the sports and entertainment industries attend in their style statements, such as Rihanna, several WNBA stars, Olympic gymnast Simone Biles, and F1 legend Lewis Hamilton. As a member of the host committee, Richardson made her entrance in one of the most fun looks of the night - a strapless butter-yellow chiffon dress with knotted bands at the center, courtesy of Valentino by Alessandro Michele. The piece was layered over a lavender lace bodice in a floral pattern, also from the designer. A large bow on the back of the yellow dress formed its long tail, and the Olympic silver medallist made sure to add to the drama with plenty of accessories, all by Alex Moss. The world 100m champion completed her stunning look with long mermaid-like hair adorned with diminutive yellow and white bows all over. Also, her trademark nails stood out pointy and colorful, decorated with what appeared to be mini flowers, looking like sugary candy rosettes. Olympic 100m champion Noah Lyles, known as the world's fastest man, wore a stylish Thom Browne outfit featuring a tailored jacket over shorts, complemented by a sleek cane to boot and tube socks. His rings and jewelry were crafted by New York designer Ana Khouri, renowned for creating luxurious accessories. Lyles mentioned that the exceptionally rare diamond-encrusted pearls reflected his personality of inclusivity and creativity. Finally, Gabby Thomas showed up to the Met Gala looking incredible in a fire red off-the-shoulder gown dripping with beads (and featuring a waistcoat!), which she paired with diamond earrings and a gorgeous beauty look from Charlotte Tilbury. The 28-year-old Thomas has had a 2024 year to remember after winning three gold medals at the 2024 Summer Olympics in Paris, and has already kicked off the 2025 season in style by earning the huge sum of $150,000 for first and second place finishes at the two meets of the Grand Slam Track League in Kingston and Miami.
