Arrest warrants were executed aboard a charter flight from Phnom Penh International Airport to Chubu Airport in Tokoname, Aichi Prefecture. The operation marked the largest number of fraud-related suspects ever repatriated to Japan in a single transfer from overseas. Police plan to step up investigations to uncover the structure and operations of the suspected scam base. The group arrived at Chubu Airport on August 20th.
