Amidst action-thrillers and romantic dramas, Akshay is coming with a dramedy, Jolly LLB 3, co-starring Arshad Warsi. The blockbuster franchise takes a step forward by uniting both Jollys - fictional lawyers. The film releases on September 19. Ahead of Jolly LLB 3’s release, it is time to revisit Akshay’s popular courtroom films that are currently streaming on OTT. From the recent Kesari Chapter 2 to the National Award-winning Rustom, fans of the actor shouldn’t be missing out on these films. Kesari Chapter 2 Based on the Jallianwala Bagh massacre, Kesari Chapter 2, directed by Karan Tyagi, presented Akshay as C. Sankaran Nair, who put up a strong legal fight against British rule to seek justice for the loss of innocent lives. The film also stars R Madhavan and Ananya Panday. Kesari Chapter 2 is streaming on JioHotstar. OMG 2 While OMG 2 primarily focuses on Pankaj Tripathi’s Kanti Sharan Mudgal and Yami Gautam’s Kamini Maheshwari, Akshay Kumar makes an impressionable special appearance as Lord Shiva. This courtroom drama helmed by Amit Rai is streaming on Netflix and JioHotstar. Jolly LLB 2 Before watching Jolly LLB 3, it is necessary to watch Jolly LLB 2. The film introduces Akshay as Advocate Jagdishwar "Jolly" Mishra. In the sequel to Jolly LLB, he plays a lawyer who fights corruption and injustice. The Subhash Kapoor directorial can be watched on JioHotstar. Rustom Rustom, a fictionalised interpretation of the K.M. Nanavati case, featured Akshay in the titular role. He also won a National Film Award for Best Actor. Tinu Suresh Desai was the director. Rustom is available on Amazon Prime Video. OMG In OMG, Akshay supported Paresh Rawal’s character as Lord Krishna. The film is about an atheist Gujarati businessman who loses his shop due to a low-intensity earthquake. He files a case against God after the insurance company denies help. OMG can be watched on JioHotstar. Aitraaz Akshay doesn’t play a lawyer in Aitraaz. Instead, he is the victim, who is accused of sexual harassment. The Abbas-Mustan directorial can be watched on Amazon Prime Video and ZEE5. Presented by Star Studio18, written and directed by Subhash Kapoor, and produced by Alok Jain and Ajit Andhare, the film also features Saurabh Shukla, Huma Qureshi, Amrita Rao, and Gajraj Rao. Jolly LLB 3 releases on September 19.
