CLEVELAND, Ohio -- There was only one Cuyahoga County home that sold for over $2 million in February, one less from January, while eight other homes sold for at least $1 million. The nine sales happened in Moreland Hills, Beachwood, Hunting Valley, Bay Village, Pepper Pike, Shaker Heights, Westlake and Orange. Topping the list was a 4,961-square-foot home in a wooded area of Moreland Hills near the Ohio 91 intersection with Chagrin Boulevard, which sold for $2.1 million. According to a Zillow listing, it was built in 2005 and includes three bedrooms and five bathrooms, along with a three-car garage. Coming in second place was a home in Pepper Pike that sold for $1.5 million. A Zillow listing noted that it was built in 2021 and sits on a just over one acre of land. The 4,516-square-foot home features four beds and five bathrooms. Photos shared on the listing showed an open kitchen with a sizeable island, wood beams across the kitchen and living room ceilings, a mud room and first floor laundry, a wet bar and large dining room. Photos of the owner’s suite showed a large bedroom, soaking tub, large two-headed shower, his-and-hers sinks, a water closet and walk-in closet. Other features included a finished basement with a wet bar, a gym with a golf simulator and a backyard patio. In third place was a 5,700-square-foot home in Beachwood that sold for $1.4 million, with six bedrooms and six bathrooms. A description included in the Zillow listing said there was a two-story great room with a stone fireplace, a spacious kitchen with “ample” storage, an owner’s suite with a custom ceiling and an oversized closet, among other features.
