A Place In The Sun couple storm off while filming during 'biggest argument ever'

A couple who appeared on A Place In The Sun "disappeared" mid-show. One episode took an unexpected turn when the pair vanished mid-filming, following a heated off-camera row that erupted during a house tour. Presenter Danni Menzies recalled the explosive spat that led to one half of the duo storming off. According to the presenter, the argument threw the production crew into disarray: "We had a couple who had the biggest barney ever," Danni told Metro. "When we finished filming one day, one of them disappeared and we were like: 'Oh my God, we're not going to be able to finish the show, where are they?' I don't know where they're at now!" The guest was eventually tracked down, just one example of how things can go pear-shaped while filming the show which can end in some tense situations. Danni once faced an abrupt exit when Shane and Sharon instantly dismissed a two-bed flat on the Costa del Sol. Despite its prime location near sandy beaches and golf courses, Shane branded the property as "claustrophobic" and refused to explore further. The couple had put aside £135,000 for their dream home but were left disappointed by the options they were presented. A two-bedroom flat in Riviera del Sol, priced slightly above their budget at £137,888, failed to impress, reports the Express . During their property hunt, presenter Ben Hillman was put to the test by picky house hunters Ali and Sue, who kept rejecting properties - even those that seemed to tick all their boxes. Losing his cool as Sue grumbled about a house being just shy of their budget, Ben couldn't resist snapping back: "Oh goodness, you're hard work". Sue acknowledged the sarcastic comment with a simple nod. The duo's actual budget was a modest £70,000, yet they dreamed of bagging a roomy two-bedroom villa for them and their German Shepherd. Despite touring four different properties, none hit the mark. Ben pointed out a potential bargain saying: "It's our first property under budget, just under £69,000," but the lacklustre response from the couple led him to quip dryly: "Don't jump up and down all at once."
