'A Star Is Born': Social Media Explodes As Vaibhav Suryavanshi Starts IPL Career With Stunning Six
@Source: news18.com
Vaibhav Suryavanshi announced himself to the world in brazen fashion smacking India allrounder Shardul Thakur for a gigantic six off what was the very first ball of his IPL career during Rajasthan Royals vs Lucknow Super Giants at the Sawai Mansingh Stadium on Saturday. The 14-year-old showed no stage fright and offered no respect to Thakur as he unleashed a fierce, airy drive to launch the ball over covers for a stunning six that to whip the Jaipur crowd into a frenzy.
And then against Avesh Khan, Vaibhav greeted the India fast bowler with a first-ball six as well – launched over the bowler’s head. He thus joined a select list of players to have started their IPL careers with a six becoming the 10th to do so. Users on social media went berserk having witnessed a kid thwacking international bowlers around the park for fun.
