Aamir Khan starrer Jo Jeeta Wohi Sikandar is considered one of the cult classics. The romantic drama still impresses audiences with its storyline and songs. But did you know that Aamir Khan faced a lot of trouble during the film shoot? Yes, you are reading right. The actor has revealed that some actors were badtameez on sets. During a conversation with Just Too Filmy, Aamir Khan mentioned that the film had a different cast and it was changed later. So the film was reshot. He further revealed that the challenges didn’t stop there. The film had actors were extremely misbehaved on set. “4 actors the aur woh bahot badtameez the (There were four other actors who were very ill-mannered). I won’t take their names, but they were giving us a lot of trouble. I told Mansoor, ‘If we are re-shooting 80 per cent of the film, let’s remove these four as well and reshoot the entire film. I cannot tolerate them again,” he was quoted saying. “The film was shot twice. We shot for 60-70 days in Ooty and Kodaikanal. We came back, and after two months, Mansoor called me and said, ‘Devika’s character is not working.’ At that time, Devika was played by another actress. She was a wonderful girl and a very good actress, but Mansoor felt she did not have the natural arrogance that the role required,” Aamir stated. So when Pooja Bedi came on board the film was reshot as it revolved around her character. The film also starred Deepak Tijori, Mamik Singh, Ayesha Jhulka, Kulbhushan Kharbanda, Imran Khan and Kiran Zaveri. On the work front, Aamir Khan was last seen in Laal Singh Chaddha with Kareena Kapoor Khan. The film failed to perform well at the box office. The actor is now set to make a comeback with Sitaare Zameen Par. It will also star Darsheel Safary and Genelia Deshmukh in key roles. He is currently making headlines for his relationship with Gauri. Aamir Khan was first married to Reena Dutta, with whom he tied the knot in 1986. He has two children with her: Ira Khan and Junaid Khan. The couple got divorced in 2002. Later, Khan got married to filmmaker Kiran Rao in 2005 and in 2021, they announced their separation. They also have a son, Azad, who was born through surrogacy. Aamir Khan shares a good bond with both his ex-wives, Reena Dutta and Kiran Rao. They remain on cordial terms.
