Aamir Khan’s family is “very happy” with his new girlfriend Gauri Spratt. Recently, the Bollywood superstar’s sister Nikhat Khan Hegde attended the trailer launch of her upcoming Malayalam film, L2: Empuraan. During the event, she was asked about Aamir and Gauri when she expressed happiness for the new couple. “Hum log bahut khush hain Aamir ke liye aur Gauri ke liye bhi kyunki woh bahut hi achi insaan hain, aur hum bahut chahte hain ke ye log dono khush rahein hamesha hamesha (We’re very happy for Aamir and Gauri as she is a great human being. We want them to stay happy always),” she said, as quoted by Hindustan Times. Aamir Khan surprised everyone on his 60th birthday when he introduced everyone to his girlfriend, Gauri Spratt. In a private meet and greet gathering with the media personnel in Mumbai, the Bollywood superstar confirmed that he has been dating Gauri. Gauri, originally from Bengaluru, and Aamir had known each other for 25 years but reconnected about a year and a half ago when she visited Mumbai. “We met accidentally, we kept in touch, and then it all happened organically,” the actor said. Gauri, who has a six-year-old son, explained that she was looking for someone gentle and intelligent, and she is glad to have found Aamir. “She is now working with my production house,” he added, highlighting her involvement in his professional life. Aamir Khan was first married to Reena Dutta, with whom he tied the knot in 1986. He has two children with her: Ira Khan and Junaid Khan. The couple got divorced in 2002. Later, Khan got married to filmmaker Kiran Rao in 2005 and in 2021, they announced their separation. They also have a son, Azad, who was born through surrogacy. Aamir Khan shares a good bond with both his ex-wives, Reena Dutta and Kiran Rao. They remain on cordial terms.
