MOSCOW, May 3. /TASS/. Russian air defense systems have destroyed seven JDAM bombs, a HIMARS rocket and 292 enemy UAVs over the past 24 hours, the Russian Defense Ministry said. It noted that a total of 662 warplanes, 283 helicopters, 55,183 unmanned aerial vehicles, 605 anti-aircraft missile systems, 23,128 tanks and other armored combat vehicles, 1,555 multiple rocket launchers, 24,388 field artillery and mortars, and 34,914 units of special military vehicles have been destroyed since the beginning of the special military operation. Operational-tactical aircraft, attack drones, missile troops and artillery of the Russian Armed Forces also struck Ukrainian manpower concentrations in 152 areas, as well as an ammunition and explosives factory. Meanwhile, the number of destroyed Ukrainian uncrewed boats targeting the Crimean peninsula has risen to 23. Earlier, the ministry reported that 14 uncrewed boats were eliminated overnight. No casualties or damage occurred as a result of the attempted overnight strike on Crimea’s infrastructure; all missiles were intercepted. Battlegroup North Kiev lost up to 170 servicemen and five field artillery guns over the past 24 hours due to the actions of the Battlegroup North, the Russian Defense Ministry said. "Ukraine lost up to 170 servicemen, two armored combat vehicles, 16 automobiles and five field artillery guns," the ministry stated. It added that units of the battlegroup engaged and defeated concentrations of manpower and equipment belonging to two airborne assault brigades, a motorized infantry brigade and two territorial defense brigades in the areas of Yunakovka, Budki, Sadki, and Maryino in the Sumy Region, and Malye Prokhody in the Kharkov Region. Battlegroup Dnepr Ukraine lost up to 60 servicemen, a US-made HMMWV armored vehicle, a radio electronic warfare station and an ammunition depot in the zone of responsibility of the Battlegroup Dnepr. "The units of the Battlegroup Dnepr defeated formations of a mechanized brigade, two coastal defense brigades and a territorial defense brigade near Pavlovka, Kamenskoye, Novoandreyevka, Malaya Tokmachka of the Zaporozhye Region, and Romashkovo, Nikolskoye, Veletenskoye, Sadovoye and Antonovka of the Kherson Region. The enemy lost up to 60 servicemen, a US-made HMMWV armored vehicle and six automobiles. An electronic warfare station and an ammunition depot were destroyed," the ministry said. Battlegroup West Ukraine lost over 220 troops and a Heron rocket launcher in the responsibility zone of the Battlegroup West. "The units of the battlegroup improved their tactical position. They defeated formations of mechanized, jaeger, assault, and airmobile brigades of the Ukrainian army, as well as a territorial defense brigade near the settlements of Glushchenkovo, Vysheye Solenoye, Druzhelyubovka, Kamenka, Olgovka, Sobolevka, Kupyansk, Krasnoye Pervoye and Moskovskaya of the Kharkov Region," the statement said. Battlegroup Center Kiev's losses due to the actions of the Battlegroup Center amounted to up to 460 troops and a French-made AMX tank. "The units of the battlegroup improved their position along the front line. They defeated formations of two mechanized brigades and an airborne brigade of the Ukrainian army, as well as a special forces brigade and a National Guard brigade near the settlements of Poltavka, Novoekonomicheskoe, Dimitrov, Novopavlovka, Tarasovka, Elizavetovka, Lysovka, Berezovka, Alexandropol, Mirolubovka and Zverevo of the Donetsk People's Republic," the ministry said. "The units of the battlegroup took more favorable lines and positions. They inflicted defeats on manpower and equipment of two mechanized brigades, a motorized infantry brigade, a mountain assault brigade, an airmobile brigade, a special forces brigade and a territorial defense brigade near the settlements of Seversk, Serebryanka, Zvanovka, Klinovoye, Verolyubovka, Alexandro-Kalinovo and Konstantinovka of the Donetsk People's Republic," the report stated. Battlegroup East Ukraine lost up to 170 soldiers and an armored combat vehicle due to the actions of the Battlegroup East. "The units of the Battlegroup East continued to advance deep into the enemy's defenses. They defeated manpower and equipment of a mechanized brigade, a jaeger brigade, and a territorial defense brigade of the Ukrainian army near the settlements of Zeleny Gai, Karl Marx, Otradnoye, Bogatyr of the Donetsk People's Republic and Gulyaipole of the Zaporozhye Region," the ministry reported.
