Alejandro Garnacho lauded teammate Ayden Heaven after the defender made his Premier League debut in Manchester United's 1-1 draw with Arsenal at Old Trafford on Sunday afternoon. The centre-back, who joined United from the Gunners at the beginning of February, stepped off the bench at half-time to replace Leny Yoro. The Frenchman had required treatment in the first half and did not reappear after the break. Heaven's introduction marked his second appearance in United colours, with the first coming against Fulham in the FA Cup . Just as he did against the Cottagers, he looked calm and assured both with and without the ball. He ended the game having produced three clearances, one interception and won one tackle. Earning plenty of praise from United's fans for his cameo performance, Heaven also banked credit from teammate Garnacho , who left an uplifting comment for the former Arsenal man on the latter's Instagram page. Commenting on a post created by Heaven, Garnacho wrote: "What a player," accompanied by the flame emoji. Heaven, 18, also earned praise from United chief Ruben Amorim in his post-match press conference. "Ayden is so relaxed, he seems so relaxed that sometimes he is too relaxed," Amorim said. "But I think we have a player there. So now we have to control, to tell him that it was just a game etc. etc." The former Arsenal man will now be eyeing his first start in United colours when Real Sociedad visit Old Trafford for the second leg of their Europa League last-16 showdown on Thursday evening.
