Alex Jones says 'certainly won’t be the last' as she has time off BBC show

Welsh presenter Alex Jones has returned from her Easter break and has said it "certainly won't be the last" time she visits the resort where she had the 'perfect family holiday'. The One Show host took some time away from the show for an adventurous week in Italy. Sharing pictures from her holiday, with her family three children Teddy, six, Kit, four and Annie, two with her husband Charlie Thomson, Alex said she would be returning to the the Dolomites montain range where they stayed at the Sonnwies resort billed as a 'sophisticated retreat for families only' . While there, Alex posted amazing pictures from her holiday including incredible mountain views, she and her family enjoying a water park and beautiful sunsets. Posting a video of moments from the trip, Alex said: "Looking back at an idyllic week at @sonnwies_familyresort It had all the ingredients for the perfect holiday. "Immersed in nature, surrounded by breathtaking views and the comfort of a beautiful hotel with children’s needs at its heart. "There was tranquility and adventure in equal measure. It certainly won’t be our last trip to the Dolomites." Alex and her family have decided to hatch chicks again. Posting a video of the eggs in the incubator, Alex said: "Look who just arrived! Ah the kids loved them so much last year, that we decided to do it again this year. This year we are going to keep three females, so here we go again." In an episode of the Netmums podcast, The One Show host and 48-year-old mum-of-three shared insights into life with her family. Alex, who previously lived in west London, said the family doesn't regret switching from the hustle and bustle of the capital for a more idyllic existence in the countryside. She explained the benefits of moving to the bigger family home with two "very active boys", Teddy and Kit, and a "pretty active" daughter, Annie. She said her sons enjoy football and rugby , describing them as being like "two puppies" who "need to run". Alex said: "And now we can sit in the garden and they can run, and you know, fill hours outside, which is wonderful to see. "So, we haven't looked back, really. We love it." You can read more, here.
