Ovechkin scored his eagerly-anticipated 895th goal in the Capitals' game against the New York Islanders at UBS Arena, which took him past the long-time record previously held by hockey legend Wayne Gretzky. After the Russian made history on the ice, TNT Sports cameras panned to his wife Nastya in the crowd - who sent fans into a frenzy on social media. One user wrote on X: 'Ovechkin’s wife is fine as hell'. Another commented: 'Ovi's wife is f***ing hot #ovechkin'. 'Had no clue Alex Ovechkin wife was that hot,' said a third. While one joked: 'Ovie’s wife is a smoke show! Even bigger accomplishment!' Nastya, whose full name is Anastasia Shubskaya, is said to have first met Ovechkin at the 2008 Olympics in Beijing before they eventually crossed paths again seven years later.
