Television personality Alison Hammond recently expressed her disinterest in Rylan Clark's show Dating Naked UK, despite her admiration for the presenter himself. While chatting with Gyles Brandreth on her 'Smart TV' podcast, the 50-year-old made it clear that it's not her type of show. She said: "I don't want to watch Dating Naked, unfortunately. I love Rylan, but I don't want to be watching that." Rylan, 36, hosts the unique dating programme where participants searching for romance do so in the buff at a villa, though the host is not subject to the bare-all rule. Apart from his presenting gigs, Rylan has snagged a part in the upcoming series of Doctor Who, where he'll feature in a segment that spoofs Eurovision called the Interstellar Song Contest. Delighted by his Doctor Who involvement, Rylan shared on Twitter/X: "Genuinely never thought in my wildest dreams I'd be able to say I was part of the Whoniverse. A full-on dream come true. Hope you enjoy." Not content with just one platform, he also spread the news on Instagram, revealing more about his role and his excitement over this milestone in his career. Elaborating on Instagram, he admitted: "So I have been keeping that secret for a year. I am so excited. "I am a massive, massive Whovian. I love Doctor Who. "I've loved it for years. And when I got that call I was so overwhelmed and I'm not gonna lie, I did have a little tear. Maybe a few more tears. It was the best experience of my life." While Rylan has been sharing his excitement about joining Doctor Who, Alison Hammond revealed she declined an offer from BBC's Bargain Hunt and opened up about her past struggles with weight. She confessed: "I was nearly 28 stone I'll be honest with you and that is morbidly obese. And I used to buy an extra seat (on planes) because I didn't want to put anyone in a situation where I was touching them." However, as she started losing weight, she began feeling better about herself. She shared: "Twice a week I see my personal trainer, and I have a couple of weights in my bedroom. I walk, I stretch, and sometimes I do a bit of yoga. After a session at the gym, I think I'm Venus Williams, with all those endorphins pumping around. If I miss a session or two with my trainer, I notice it. The kick you get out of the way you feel is so good."
