Andrew Garfield and Monica Barbaro spent some time together following the 2025 Oscars. The pair, whom a source told PEOPLE last month have been "quietly" dating, were spotted after the Academy Awards ceremony in Los Angeles at an afterparty thrown by Beyoncé and Jay-Z. Barbaro, 34, was nominated for Best Supporting Actress in her breakout role as a young Joan Baez in A Complete Unknown alongside costar Timothée Chalamet, who was up for Best Actor. Meanwhile, Garfield, 41, attended the Oscars as a presenter and was most recently nominated in 2022 for Best Actor for his role in Tick Tick ... Boom! PEOPLE confirmed with a source on Feb. 21 that Barbaro and Garfield have been "quietly" seeing one another. Reps for both actors did not respond to PEOPLE's request for comment at the time. The pair were first photographed together with Eddie Redmayne and Lynn Hirschberg at W Magazine's Best Performances party in Los Angeles on Jan. 4. They were later spotted in February sitting together at a performance of Richard II at the Bridge Theatre on London's West End, starring Jonathan Bailey. In a video posted on social media Feb. 20, Garfield and Barbaro, who were dressed casually, including in baseball caps, could be seen chatting before the show began. Garfield — who has previously been linked to his Amazing Spider-Man costar Emma Stone in the 2010s and model Alyssa Miller up until April 2022 — told Esquire in an interview in October 2024 that he "won’t ever speak about or confirm or deny anything about my personal life with anyone." Most recently, the We Live in Time actor was known to be in a relationship with spiritual reader Kate Tomas. They were first linked in March 2024 but had split "months" before Tomas revealed in October that they were no longer together. Sunday marked Barbaro's first Oscar nomination, while Garfield was also previously recognized in the Best Actor category for his role in 2016's Hacksaw Ridge.
