ANDY MURRAY has certainly kept himself busy since retiring from tennis.
Between coaching old rival Novak Djokovic, becoming a golf ambassador and creating a new gin, the two-time Wimbledon champion isn't just lying around.
And one of the Scot's new ventures has seen him collide with some very famous names.
Padel tennis tournament the Hexagon Cup took place in Madrid in January, with some huge celebrities backing teams in the competition.
Murray was involved alongside one-time tennis foe Rafael Nadal, with teams also funded by the likes of Barcelona striker Robert Lewandowski, actress Eva Longoria and Manchester City legend Sergio Aguero.
And the biggest name of all was Lionel Messi, who Murray posed for an Instagram picture with a few months on from the tournament.
It's not clear what the context for the meeting was, but Murray displayed some of his classic deadpan wit in the caption, poking fun at an old debate from throughout Messi's career.
He wrote: "I asked him if he could do it on a cold rainy night in Stoke.
"He responded 'cállate la boca' which I think means yes in Spanish."
The phrase actually translates to "shut your mouth", so it's fair to say the interaction likely didn't really go down that way - but stars flooded to the comments to appreciate the post.
Novak Djokovic commented with three laughing emojis, clearly loving the meeting between his coach and a star of one of his other favourite sports.
Presenter Gabby Logan also left laughing emojis, whist Scots comedian Kevin Bridges tried his hand at a bit of Spanish, writing; "Dos belters!"
And with Murray kitted out in Castore gear, one hopeful football fan thought they had spotted a hidden message in the pic.
They commented: "I've seen enough, Messi to Rangers confirmed."
