Angry Ginge has spoken out after his impressive Soccer Aid debut, but he also hit out at a footballing legend as he revealed a bloody injury. The Twitch streamer, TikToker and Youtuber lived out a boyhood dream as the Manchester United fan made his first appearance in the "world's biggest charity football match" at the club's home of Old Tafford. The 23-year-old from Salford , whose name is Morgan Burtwistle, took to the pitch for the England side as they hoped to retain their winning streak against the World XI side. And it was clear he impressed as he was kept on the pitch throughout the game and was involved in some valuable saves and assists, which did see England ahead for most of the match. However, the arrival of Carlos Tevez sparked some drama and his four goals, two within the space of 92 seconds, saw him lead the World XI to victory, with a final score of 5-4. And it was the Argentine manager and former Manchester City star who caused a bit of a nightmare for Angry Ginge, as he later took to Instagram to reveal his post-Soccer Aid injury. Sharing a picture of his leg with a bleeding cut in the dressing room, Angry Ginge, known by his online fans for his football and video game streams such as Fortnite and FIFA (now EA FC), wrote: "Cheers Tevez, t***." It comes after fans spotted the moment of their clash and took to social media to comment. "AngryGinge smashes into Carlos Tevez to accomplish the dreams of every Manchester United fan," joked one. Another said: "Angry Ginge leaving one on Tevez, asked for it and got it. He thinks it’s the Champions League final." A third added: "Not a big fan of YouTubers playing Soccer Aids. But obviously get their appeal with their fans etc. However I’m a massive fan of Angry Ginge clattering Tevez in a charity match." But the local lad was soon cheered up by being awarded Player of the Match and has since returned to social media with a message in which he shared sweet childhood snaps of him supporting the England side. He shared on X, formerly know as Twitter : "From watching it with my mum and family as a kid. To playing in it with the hero’s and icons I’ve looked up to. Thank you everyone [red heart emoji]." Prior to the World XI lifting the trophy in the air, singer Robbie Williams – who co-founded the charity game in 2006 – announced this year’s event had raised £15,280,163. In a statement, he said: "As an original founder of Soccer Aid, I couldn’t be more proud of UNICEF... From the volunteers, organisers and talent, to the team on the ground; everyone who buys a ticket or makes a donation. Together, over the years, we’ve raised over £121m. Here’s to many more games and even more fundraising."
