Ahead of the IPL 2025 playoffs, Royal Challengers Bengaluru have been hit by another injury scare with Tim David hurting his leg during their 42-run defeat to Sunrisers Hyderabad in Lucknow on Friday night. David is the latest RCB player to have encountered fitness concern in the ongoing season as the franchise continues quest for a maiden IPL title. David was fielding in the deep when he seemed to have pulled his hamstring while preventing a boundary after running across from square leg region in the final over of SRH innings. He hobbled off to the RCB dug-out and didn’t field for the remainder of the five deliveries left in the over. However, the Australian did come out to bat and managed just 1 off five deliveries with RCB being bowled out for 189 in chase of 232 at the Ekana Cricket Stadium.
