The Barbados Under-19 women were again denied a start to their campaign in the West Indies Rising Stars Championship, after rain forced a no result in their game with the Trinidad and Tobago Under-19 women.
This follows their opening match against the Windward Islands Under-19s women also being abandoned on Tuesday without a ball being bowled.
Today, they started play at the Diego Martin Sports Complex, sending the home team in to take first knock, and they reached 25 for two after six overs when rain stopped play.
Dicyrah Collymore took both wickets for 15 runs.
The match between Jamaica and the Leewards was abandoned without a ball being bowled, but Guyana managed to defeat the Windwards by four wickets.
The Barbados Under-19 women will now hope to get play on Saturday against Guyana at the National Cricket Centre in Couva.
