They're always finding stuff. Maybe one day we'll find Cleopatra's tomb.

I should have been an archaeologist. I mean yeah, I'd look like an idiot dressed as Indiana Jones all the time but it would be more fun than programming. Maybe not as fun as post production but I'd get more sun.

Whatever you do, don't read from the book. Or is that the other book?
You know what, just on general principle, don't read from any ancient-looking book you find in a tomb, a graveyard, a basement, etc. Probably a good idea not to open it, either.

Archaeology would be a lot cooler if Ph.D. graduates were issued a leather jacket and fedora instead of medievalist regalia.

How do they know it's a 'book of the dead' if they are 'mum' on the text and won't release any photos? If it is real, 43 ft would be something to see no matter what is written on it. I don't care if it's a Bazooka Joe comic...that will be an amazing museum display. How do you even spread that out to write? And imagine how much stuff is buried out there, especially in that region that has not, or probably ever will be discovered. Still things in life that are actually interesting.

GODDAMMIT... Beat me to it by less than 3 minutes...
...but what does Randolph Carter think of this?
/YOU FOOL! WARREN IS DEAD!
//Miri: "No, he isn't. He's sitting next to me, and your curse is far less effective than you think it is..."
///Her assistant is, indeed, named Warren... Lovecraft isn't always right, but when he is... it REALLY makes you think about how much was fantasy and how much was (possibly) influence...

What if I transcribed from the book, and read from my notes?
Or took a photo and had Alexa do it for me?
