Asda customers have been left puzzled after noticing an unexpected Cadbury chocolate bar on the supermarket's shelves. Iconic British chocolate maker Cadbury, established in 1824, is a beloved brand for many, with its rich history spanning multiple generations . The company has grown to become one of the most renowned confectionery brands globally, with many of its products instantly recognisable. The classic Dairy Milk is a staple and now features numerous spin-off flavours, adding to its appeal. Like many businesses, Cadbury often launches themed products centred on significant calendar events like Christmas and Easter . However, Asda shoppers were taken aback when they spotted a festive favourite already on the shelves, even though Christmas is still 155 days away . The supermarket, which sells essentials such as food , cleaning products and baby care items, alongside its fashionable homeware, clothing, and limited edition releases, is already stocking Cadbury's popular Mini Snowballs bar. This bar is a festive version of the Dairy Milk, made of smooth milk chocolate and filled with mini 'snowball' pieces. New Foods UK, a popular food and snack account on social media , shared a photo of the chocolate bar on Instagram after it was spotted in Asda stores. With 373K followers, the account is a trusted source for food enthusiasts thanks to its regular posts featuring the latest items found in supermarkets and other shops across the country. The release of a Christmas-themed product in July has sparked quite the conversation among social media users. New Foods UK shared the image with the caption: "Giant Cadbury Snowball Bars spotted today at [Asda] [laughing emoji] Happy Christmas!" The post quickly attracted a flurry of comments from people eager to voice their opinions on the festive item's untimely appearance. One shopper said: "These are my favourites although it's a little bit early even for me." Another simply said: "Christmas in July for chocolate now." A third shared their general aversion to the annual festivities: "Christmas every year is ridiculous. It should be like the Olympics, where we celebrate every 4 years." Someone else commented: "This? In the middle of July?" Meanwhile, a chocolate enthusiast who was pleased with the offering, commented: "Yes yes yes". Cadbury, a household name in over 50 countries, is renowned for its Dairy Milk, the seasonal Roses selection tins, and the iconic Creme Egg, which emerges in January and remains available until Easter. For those keen to get their hands on a bar of Cadbury Mini Snowballs, they're available at your local Asda store.
