As anticipation builds, the makers also issued a special appeal to the audience. On Friday, Hombale Films requested fans not to upload clips or footage from the film online. Their message read, “We truly appreciate your immense love and unparalleled excitement for #MahavatarNarsimha. We kindly request all fans to refrain from sharing video clips from the film online. Let’s preserve the divine experience for everyone to witness the magic on the big screen.”
Mahavatar Narsimha is the first film in an ambitious animated franchise centred on the ten avatars of Lord Vishnu. Produced by Kleem Productions and Hombale Films, the series is expected to unfold over the next decade with titles such as Mahavatar Parshuram (2027), Mahavatar Raghunandan (2029), Mahavatar Dhawkadhesh (2031), Mahavatar Gokulananda (2033), and Mahavatar Kalki in two parts (2035 and 2037).
The film, produced by Shilpaa Dhawan, Kushal Desai, and Chaitanya Desai, explores the well-known story of Prahlada and his tyrannical father, Hiranyakashipu. Despite being granted near-immortality by Lord Brahma, the king’s attempts to harm his devout son fail, eventually prompting Lord Vishnu to intervene in the form of his fierce fourth avatar, Narsimha.
Presented in five Indian languages, Mahavatar Narsimha has been edited by Kleem Productions and produced by Shilpaa Dhawan, Kushal Desai, and Chaitanya Desai. The screenplay, written by Jayapurna Das and Rudra Pratap Ghosh, has been particularly appreciated.
