Atlantic Cape Community College Kids College summer programs for children ages 7-16

Atlantic Cape Community College is offering a wide array of engaging summer programs for kids and teens ages 7-16 through their Kids College and Summer Academy.
The programs, which run from July 7 to Aug. 14 at the Mays Landing Campus, provide opportunities for students to explore their interests, develop new skills, and have fun in a safe and supportive environment.
The Kids College and Summer Academy offer both full-day (9 a.m.-3:30 p.m.) and half-day (9 a.m.-12 p.m. or 12:30-3:30 p.m.) classes across a variety of subjects. From arts and crafts to coding and game design, cooking to sports clinics, there is something for every young learner.
Some highlights of the program include:
Comic Book Design (ages 10-12): Students learn to create their own comic books, including drawing characters and developing storylines.LEGO Films Stop Action and ROBLOX® Makers (ages 7-12): Kids bring LEGOs to life through stop-motion animation and learn to create 3D models and adventures in ROBLOX®.Esports Games and Minecraft Modders (ages 7-12): Students develop gaming skills, learn about streaming and commentating, and create mods for Minecraft.Babysitting Certification (ages 13-16): Teens can earn their American Red Cross babysitting certification, including First Aid and CPR training.Culinary Arts (ages 10-16): Young chefs explore international cuisines, baking, and cake decorating.Crime Scene Investigation (ages 10-16): Students dive into forensic science, learning about fingerprinting, blood spatter analysis, and more.
In addition to the Kids College classes, Atlantic Cape is also offering sports clinics through their Buccaneer Kids College Sports Clinics program. These clinics, which support the college’s athletic teams, include baseball, soccer, basketball, and volleyball for various age groups.
For those interested in online learning, Atlantic Cape has partnered with Black Rocket to offer virtual STEAM camps in coding, game design, Esports, and virtual reality for ages 8-14.
Registration for the summer programs is now open, with a 10% early bird discount available through May 26. Interested families can visit the Atlantic Cape Community College website for more information and to register.
