Netflix customers have been left outraged over the latest price hike, with many vowing to boycott the streaming service for good.
Standard Netflix subscribers, who choose to have ads with their service, are now paying $9.99, up from $7.99.
That's a whopping $24 more per year.
The standard plan without ads has risen from $18.99 to $20.99, while Premium, the most expensive offer, has been raised by $3, from $25.99 to $28.99.
Netflix has also increased the cost of adding an extra user to an existing plan.
It will now cost $6.99 per month to add an extra user to the standard plan with ads, up from $5.99, and it will cost $8.99 to do the same without ads, up from $7.99.
The streaming giant raised the cost for its three subscription tiers just over a year after the last price update.
One subscriber took to Reddit to air their frustration at the price hike and announce their decision to quit the streaming service for good.

'Goodbye Netflix, it was a good ten years but the high seas are calling,' the user wrote, hinting they planned to get their TV fix by turning to piracy.
They shared the email Netflix sent informing customers of the price increase.
'Thank you for being a valued member since 2015,' the email read.
'We hope you're enjoying everything Netflix has to offer. We're updating your monthly price to $28.99 on September 25, 2025.'
Other customers agreed, with one stating that although they could afford the hike, 'the value for money isn't there'.
'It's twice the price of almost everyone else and half the quality,' they wrote.
Another commented: 'I got my “Price Update email” also, and they got my cancellation notification shortly after. Win-Win!!'
'I won't be pirating, but cancelled Netflix already and cancelled Spotify yesterday,' another said.

'Corporate staff continuing to raise prices with no increase in what they offer - there is an expectation that the public will just keep paying it. Only voting with your feet matters.'
However, others hit back and slammed the customer for turning to piracy.
'I get that nobody likes price hikes, but piracy isn’t some noble protest — it’s just stealing,' they commented.
'If Netflix is too expensive, the fair option is to cancel and go without, or find another service that fits your budget.'
Another argued that Netflix's cost is still cheaper than the pre-streaming model of renting movies from a video store.
Daily Mail contacted Netflix for comment.
