A couple of well-known psychics, renowned for their eerily accurate predictions of global events including the coronavirus pandemic, Princess Diana's death, and the 9/11 attacks, are now forecasting a landmark moment in extraterrestrial relations for this year. Baba Vanga and the so-called Living Nostradamus predict that 2025 will be the year aliens reach out to Earth. The late blind Bulgarian seer Baba Vanga, who died in 1996 aged 84, foresaw Earth making contact with alien life during a 'major sporting event'. With a host of major events on the horizon, such as the Women's Euro final, Women's Rugby World Cup, and Formula 1 races, speculation is rife about when we might expect this otherworldly encounter. Meanwhile, Athos Salomé, 38, from Brazil and dubbed the Living Nostradamus, has his sights set on the James Webb telescope as the medium through which we'll discover alien life. Launched on Christmas Day in 2021, NASA has hailed it as 'the largest, most powerful and most complex telescope ever launched into space'. Salomé shared with Femail: "Thanks to the James Webb telescope, humanity might finally get the answer to the existence of alien life, while governments like the US may declassify UFO files." He added, "If true, these discoveries could revolutionise one's view about the universe in which we exist - and about ourselves," reports the Express . The James Webb telescope has been unlocking the secrets of the cosmos, shedding light on the universe's earliest moments post-Big Bang. Though Vanga died nearly three decades ago, her prophecies for 2025 are stirring up conversations. She foretold that this year, not only would humanity make contact with extraterrestrial beings but also see a leap in medical science with the cultivation of human organs in labs, potentially eliminating waiting lists for transplants and significantly extending life expectancy. Sky History highlights that such a medical advancement could dramatically increase lifespans, possibly pushing them past 120 years. Vanga's other predictions for 2025 include a series of earthquakes and a catastrophic war in Europe. She once proclaimed: " Russia will not only survive, it will dominate the world." The 'Nostradamus of the Balkans' also suggested that Putin would be re-elected as Russia's leader next year. However, Putin was already re-elected this year, and Russia isn't scheduled for another election until 2030. Additionally, she envisioned telepathy becoming a reality, a notion that has intrigued many futurists. The Daily Mail reports that Salomé has issued a cautionary note for 2025, suggesting that it may be the year when 'humanity may lose control of technology. '. The psychic emphasised that while the upcoming year promises radical innovation, it also brings with it unparalleled challenges. He suggested that with the emergence of artificial intelligence, quantum computing, and medical breakthroughs, we could be on the cusp of a revolutionary leap forward or impending catastrophe, labelling 2025 as a 'turning point'.
