Barcelona's hopes of winning the quadruple this season have been dealt a major blow after the extent of Robert Lewandowski's injury was confirmed. Lewandowski, 36, has enjoyed the most prolific of his three campaigns with Barca , firing them to the top of La Liga and into the Champions League semi-finals with his 40 goals. Hansi Flick's side are also in the Copa del Rey final and will play Real Madrid next weekend in Seville. But their star striker won't be available after suffering a leg injury during Barcelona's epic 4-3 win over Celta Vigo on Saturday. The Poland captain went down in pain as Barca were mounting their comeback and he immediately signalled to be substituted. Lewandowski limped off unaccompanied before Flick confirmed that he'd undergo an MRI scan on Sunday to discover the extent of his injury. Barcelona confirmed in a statement on Sunday afternoon: "Tests carried out on Sunday have confirmed that first-team player Robert Lewandowski has a left semitendinosus injury. His return will be determined by his progress. Multiple reports from Spain say that Lewandowski is expected to be out for around three weeks, meaning that he'll be absent for a crucial run of games. In addition to the cup final on Saturday, the 36-year-old will miss the first leg of their Champions League quarter-final tie with Inter Milan as well as two La Liga fixtures - Mallorca at home and Real Valladolid away. Lewandowski will be aiming to return for the second leg against Inter at San Siro, although that looks unlikely. Five days later, Barca host Real in another Clasico which could go a long way to deciding where the league title ends up. They're are currently seven points clear of Carlo Ancelotti's side, who have one game in hand. Barcelona looked on course for a shock defeat at home to Celta, as they found themselves 3-1 down with less than half an hour remaining. Following Ferran Torres' opener, Borja Iglesias scored a hat-trick and Barcelona were facing the prospect of back-to-back defeats, having previously gone unbeaten in 2025. But a goal from Dani Olmo and Raphinha's double completed a marvellous comeback. Will Barcelona win the quadruple? Give us your prediction in the comments section . "When we win, we like these kinds of games," Flick said post-match. "We've played against a very good team, they've had good results in the last 10 games, as I said yesterday in the press conference. Their coach is doing a fantastic job. "I think the goals we conceded have nothing to do with our pressing. We usually press very well, but today we made mistakes. We made it very easy for the opponent. "But the team did everything, we didn't give up. That's the mentality we have right now. It's great. I don't want to talk about the mistakes my players made. I think that everyone can see that the team didn't give up, they did their best for 90 minutes and we got the three points."
