Barry Ferguson would crack under real Rangers pressure as clock ticks on one rival for the job — Hotline

It's certainly not been dull for Rangers under Barry Ferguson with another storming comeback win at the weekend at Dundee.
Rangers fans hit the Hotline to back the caretaker boss – but rival Celtic supporters reckon it’s only a matter of time before his luck runs out.
Robert Livingston, via email, said: “Barry Ferguson’s substitutions were good timing as Tom Lawrence's goal turned the game around.
“He has certainly changed things for the better, with an exciting seven goal thriller and Cyriel Dessers winning the game.
“He missed a fair few, but to come from two goals down and win at Kilmarnock and Dundee, it’s something you couldn't see happening under Philippe Clement.”
But Kevin Kean, Inchinnan, said: “Rangers stole the points at Dens and they know it.
“There has been no masterclass from Ferguson. He has seen his team go two goals behind several times and he changes it at half-time.
“That means he's picking the wrong team or strategy in the first place. They can't stick with him surely?”
Paddy Gowans emailed: “It’s easy for Barry at the moment as there's no pressure on him.
“If he got the job full time, that's a different side to the coin. He’s been sacked a few times as a manager, how would he handle real pressure?”
Likewise, the Light Blues are not so impressive with their rivals either.
Chris Lowe, Yoker, said: “After trying all season to punt Khun, who’s clearly over his good six week spell, I see usual suspects attention has turned to Maeda who is being talked up for a big money move.
“With Kyogo, Jota and the failed Danish trialist all flopping, the ship has now sailed making millions from performances in Scottish football.
“If Cyriel Dessers played across the city he’d get the £20million-rated headlines.”
Hoops fans were content to get back on the victory trail against Hearts and close in on the title.
Kenny Wilson, Moffat, said: “Business as usual for Celtic with another routine win and what a difference to have our captain back in the team.
“I was pretty shocked to read Celtic only need three more wins for another title as they edge towards another treble cause after listening to Rangers fans on here the last two weeks you would think they were the ones heading for the title.
“Still when you win nothing you need to celebrate small achievements.”
Scott McAdam, Glasgow, said: “Another three points for the champions and just three wins to go.
“Meanwhile another game Barry's avengers deserved nothing from. Not to worry, caller Alan Frett says their A game is coming.
“It might not be at their next home game, because they are playing in front of the gummy bears – which they are terrified of.”
Elsewhere, Neil Lennon’s Dunfermline bow didn’t go to plan with defeat to Scott Brown’s Ayr United and big signing Victor Wanyama seeing red.
Peter Cooperwhite emailed: “I see Neil Lennon just in the door and already making statements about refereeing double standards.
“Where have we heard him say that before? Parade Wanyama days before kick off and only bring him on after 64 minutes what standard is his fitness in?”
Derek McInnes’ Killie are in bother after five games without a win and Rugby Park fan James Murray said: “We’re near the end season and yet again the manager is asking the fans to keep the faith, don’t worry we are better than a lot of teams in the league.
“I’m afraid the league table doesn’t lie. It's said managers have a sell by date, it could be Del Boy’s.”
