Mollie King has been flooded with love and support as she shared a public message to her 'beautiful baby girls' as she marked the end of her maternity leave. The singer and presenter has been taking a break from her hosting gig on BBC Radio 1 having welcomed her second child into the world with fiancé Stuart Broad. Mollie and the cricket star welcomed daughter Lilianna in January, after the arrival of their first-born, Annabella, back in November 2022, which came shortly before Mollie's father heartbreakingly died of a brain tumour. Having spent months soaking up her baby bubble for a precious second time, Mollie revealed on Sunday (May 18) that she'd officially come to the end of her maternity leave and was heading back to Radio 1 alongside co-host Matt Edmonson on Monday (May 19). Alongside a number of adorable pictures of her with her newborn, as well as cute pictures of Annabella being a doting big sister to little Lilianna, the mum-of-two said: "Just before Christmas we welcomed our truly adorable Liliana into the family. "Since then I’ve had the most unforgettable and incredible maternity leave watching her grow and experience the world little by little each day. It’s been the most special and precious time I could have ever asked for. Tomorrow I’ll be back with my second family - my @bbcradio1 team and with our wonderful listeners, but to my beautiful baby girls if they read this when they’re older… "Liliana, you’ve been the best Christmas present we could’ve wished for. I was so nervous that I wouldn’t know how to look after 2 but you have been the world’s most relaxed baby with the biggest smile for your family. Thank you for our midnight feasts and 4am snuggles - plenty more of those to come! "And Annabella, thank you for continuing to make me belly laugh every single day and for welcoming your little sister into this world with so much love. I’m so lucky to watch you grow day by day - thank you girls for teaching me to be your Mummy - you are our world." Stuart was quick to respond, as he commented on the post: "The best time [red heart emoji]." Other comments also came flooding in. Radio 1 star Dean McCullough said: "we’ve missed you." @rosierooroo87 commented: "Awww so precious Mollie, what a lovely mum you are." @littleju73 wrote: "Beautiful words.... can't wait to hear you back tomorrow.... I've missed you!! Big Up The Kingdom!!!" @libertyclare93 posted: "So excited to hear your voice tomorrow Mollie - you’ve been missed!" @tomjamesclark replied: "Amazing! Can’t wait to hear you back on the radio!" @loobie_looou added: "Can't wait to hear you back on the radio." It comes after Mollie told her fans of her beloved dog, Alfie's, death in a social media post at the end of April. She shared a number of pictures of the pair together as well as adorable photos of her little four-legged pal. "Goodbye to my little boy, Alfie," a heartbroken Mollie started her post. "Alfie was by my side for almost half my life and I can’t believe he is no longer here. I still remember the day I brought him home and he was tiny enough to fit in my shoe. "We had so much fun together and he would come with me on so many adventures! Even though he was tiny, he was always there looking out for me, ready to snuggle on the sofa when I needed it with his adorable smile." The former The Saturdays singer added: "I feel so incredibly lucky to have had him in my life for so long. Sleep well now my angel boy. Thank you for being the best little companion." Former bandmate Una Healey was among the first to respond, telling Mollie: "I am so sorry Mollie. I remember when you used to bring him along to work when he was a tiny puppy with his green towel. Sending you so much love." Gemma Atkinson, who lost both of her dogs, Norman and Ollie, within six months of each other last year, replied: "Sending lots of love to you. Bless him." Loose Women star Ruth Langsford shared: "Oh Molly….I’m so sorry. Hold your memories close. Sending you love and a huge hug."
