Chris McCausland and Dianne Buswell have joked thay 'don't like to brag' as they spoke for the first time about their huge news after winning Strictly Come Dancing last year. It's now been a few months since the pair won the BBC One dance contest in emotional scenes. There were tears aplenty when the comedian and the professional dancer lifted the coveted Glitterball trophy after beating their fellow finalists. Unlike some of the other couples, their dancing journey came to an abrupt end and the emotional pair went their separate way and while Dianne joined her co-stars on the Strictly Come Dancing Live 2025 tour, Chris headed back to his stand-up tour, Yonks!, which he started before signing up to the hit dance show. While they may not be dancing together again, the pair have joined forces for their very own podcast, Winning Isn't Everything, and in the new episode, the Strictly champs were heard discussing their latest joint success. For those who don't know, Chris and Dianne are among the nominees for the Bafta P&O Cruises Memorable Moment award. The award is voted on by the public and aims to celebrate the most impactful parts of the year’s television. The Strictly winners, who are the second-ever to be nominated following Rose Ayling-Ellis and Giovanni Pernice, are nominated for their performance of You’ll Never Walk Alone, which saw Dianne leave the ballroom floor so her partner could dance on his own before she returned to spinning in his arms moments later in tear-jerking scenes. Alongside a clip of them talking about the big news in their latest podcast episode, a message read: "Another ep of Winning isn’t everything podcast is out today !!! "Here’s just a gentle reminder as we don’t like to brag and of course winning isn’t everything [crying laughing emoji]. BUT GO VOTE if you haven’t already for Chris and I to get the bafta for most memorable tv moment [crying laughing emoji and red heart icon]. The caption went on: "In today’s episode it’s been another huge week for Di, but as always she’s seeing the positives! The duo descend into chaos as they discuss Di’s driving skills, Di’s feet, and Chris’s power cut.
