Jadeja, who has played 80 Test matches for India since making his debut against England in Nagpur on December 13, 2012, has been No. 1 in the men’s Test all-rounder’s ranking for 1152 days. Jadeja is one of India’s greatest players of all time. In 80 Test matches played so far, Jadeja has scored 3370 runs and picked up 323 wickets. He has four centuries and 22 fifties to his name in Test cricket, and he also has dismissed five or more batters in an innings on 15 occasions. Jadeja to feature in England series Jadeja is all set to travel to England with Team India next month to take part in the five-match series against the Ben Stokes-led side starting June 20 in Leeds. After the retirement of Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma from Test cricket on May 12 and May 7, respectively, Jadeja will be India’s most experienced player in the first series of the 2025-27 World Test Championship (WTC) cycle. In his last Test on English soil, which was played from July 1 to 5 in 2022, Jadeja scored a century in the first innings, but it wasn’t enough to help the Jasprit Bumrah-led side avoid humiliating defeat by 7 wickets, which also ended India’s chances of winning a Test series in England for the first time since the 1-0 triumph in the summer of 2007.
