BCCI likely to force Virat Kohli to reverse his Test 'retirement decision'

As per recent reports published in some sections of media star batter Virat Kohli has informed the Board of Control for Cricket in India BCCI about his decision to retire from Test cricket.
However as per a report in a cricket specific website BCCI is planning to have a conversation with Virat Kohli about his reported decision to retire from Test cricket.
The report suggests that BCCI is expected to approach Kohli in an attempt to convince him to continue playing in the longest format of the game.
As per the report a highly influential figure in Indian cricket is set to meet with Kohli to convince him to continue playing Test cricket. The meeting is likely to take place before the Test squad for the upcoming series against England is selected which is scheduled for May 23.
The report further stated that BCCI is planning a media conference to announce Indias new Test captain.

Kohli is a prolific batter in the longest format of the game. The right-handed batsman has garnered a total of 9230 runs from 123 matches with an average of 46.85 including 30 centuries and 31 half-centuries in red ball cricket.
