This has been a bittersweet year for Indian cricket so far. The Indian Test team and the ODI team has experienced contrasting futures so far and the results in both the formats have been extremely different from each other. Rohit Sharma led his team to stellar undefeated Champions Trophy campaign, but as far as India's Test future is concerned, things don't look that good. India started the year while they were on their Australian tour. Follwoing the debacle 'Down Under', the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) made it mandattory for all the members of the Indian team to play domestic cricket when they are off national duty.It is now being reported that some of India's frontline Test players will have to represent India A and will have to play two warm-up games against England Lions to prepare themselves for the IND vs ENG Test series. 'There is enough time to announce the squad, mostly ahead of the knockouts or just after those matches.
