Crusaders centre Levi Aumua could possibly play for the Flying Fijians in future.
The 30-year-old is eligible to play for three countries- New Zealand, Samoa and Fiji.
He can represent Fiji through his mother who hails from Tailevu. Aumua has not played for any country yet.
He was an All Blacks XV selection in 2022 however that did not have an impact on his eligibility for the number of nations he qualifies for.
The former Tasman Mako player is enjoying his second season with the former Super Rugby Pacific champions after two years with Moana Pasifika.
Asked if he would like to don the white jumper, Aumua said: “Maybe. I haven’t thought about it.”
He said it was always special to play in Fiji in front of his family and their 31-14 win against the Fijian Drua made it even more sweeter.
“I have been waiting a long time to beat the Drua. It started back when the Drua joined Super Rugby with Moana.
“I’m really happy with the crowd and seeing my family who are in the country.
“I love coming back to Suva it was nice playing here, a change from Lautoka.”
Aumua indicated he would consider playing around New Zealand before moving overseas.
He was a key player for Moana Pasifika since the club’s inception in 2022. Hee represented Moana in 22 games and scored eight tries. Aumua has played 17 matches so far with Crusaders and scored two tries.
