Jude Bellingham once again showcased his exceptional skills for Real Madrid, playing a crucial role in their thrilling 5-4 aggregate victory over Real Sociedad, which earned them a spot in the Copa del Rey final.
Antonio Rudiger’s extra-time goal sealed the win after a thrilling 4-4 draw at the Santiago Bernabeu.
Bellingham was the standout performer, dominating midfield with precision passing, relentless dribbling, and a well-taken goal in the 82nd minute.
The England international registered four key passes, maintained an 85% pass accuracy, won seven free-kicks and recorded 83 touches.
His latest goal contribution takes his tally to 60 in just 83 appearances for Los Blancos since joining from Borussia Dortmund in 2023.
The 21-year-old’s impact has drawn comparisons to club legend Zinedine Zidane, who also wore the number five shirt.
Zidane, who found the net 49 times in 227 matches for Real Madrid and captured six major titles, never managed to achieve a treble. Bellingham is now looking to accomplish this remarkable achievement.
Real Madrid remain firmly in the title race, just three points behind Barcelona in La Liga, with a crucial El Clasico clash set for May 11.
Meanwhile, they face Arsenal in the Champions League quarter-finals as Carlo Ancelotti’s side push for another European triumph.
Bellingham’s stellar form has left fans in awe, with one declaring on social media: “Even Zidane wasn’t this good.”
