MATTHEW GAFFNEY
MALDEN CATHOLIC
The two-time Boston Herald Dream Teamer put up another memorable campaign, earning Catholic Conference MVP honors and leading Malden Catholic to a fourth consecutive state championship game berth. Gaffney finished his career a three-time state champion with 1,495 points. A leading member of National Honor Society, Gaffney will continue his academic and playing career at the United States Naval Academy.
CENTRAL CATHOLIC
One of the most prolific scorers in Massachusetts, Lopez averaged 24 points a game to go with eight rebounds, four assists, and three steals. His efforts earned him MVC Div. 1 Player of the Year and led Central Catholic to the Div. 1 state semifinals. A high honor roll student, Lopez plays for Mass Rivals on the club basketball circuit.

SOMERSET BERKLEY
It was a season to remember for Somerset Berkley and McDonald was at the center of it all. The senior point guard averaged 14.2 points, 5.7 rebounds, 5.7 assists, and two steals per game to lead his team to the Div. 2 state championship, its first title in over 70 years. A two-time Boston Herald all-scholastic, McDonald is undecided on his future plans.
CADEN SULLIVAN
Sullivan took Franklin to the mountaintop as the senior scored 23 points per game to go with seven rebounds to lead the Panthers to their first Div. 1 state championship in program history. A 1,000-point scorer for his career, Sullivan earned Hockomock League Kelley-Rex MVP honors for his play. Also a member of the golf team, Sullivan is set to continue his academic and basketball career at Endicott College.
TEAGAN SWINT
NEWTON NORTH
Swint capped off a storied career with a senior campaign that saw him average 24 points and nine rebounds a night. Over the course of his career, Swint led the Tigers to a pair of state championship game berths, including one in 2025. He earned Bay State Conference Carey MVP honors for a second time this season and finished his career with 1,225 points. Swint will continue his academic and athletic career at Johns Hopkins University.

VINCENT CAFARELLI
PLYMOUTH SOUTH
Cafarelli took Plymouth South to new heights as the senior averaged 16 points, four rebounds, and two assists a night to lead the Panthers to the lead Div. 2 quarterfinals for the first time in program history. Cafarelli scored double figures in 18 games and had nine games with at least 20 points. The senior will apprentice for an electrical company after graduation and start electrical school in the fall.
The 6-foot-11 Carty dominated inside, tallying 21 points, 14 rebounds, and three blocks a game to lead Watertown to the Div. 3 Round of 16. Carty was named the Middlesex League Freedom Division’s MVP. Only a junior, Carty figures to be one of the premier players in Massachusetts during the 2025-26 season.
JACK CHARCHAFLIAN
Charchaflian was a dynamic playmaker for Winchester. The sophomore averaged 17 points, seven rebounds, and four assists per game to lead Winchester to the Middlesex League Liberty title. Through two years, Charchaflian has tallied 644 points. He plays for Middlesex Magic on the club basketball circuit and figures to be one of the more recruitable guards in the coming years.
RONAN COFFEY
Coffey ensured Norwell made history as the senior point guard averaged 17.5 points per game, including 22 points a night in the state tournament, to lead his team to an undefeated season and its first Div. 3 state championship. Coffey saved his best for the biggest moments, hitting the game-tying three pointer at the buzzer to send the state title game to overtime. Coffey finished with 950 points and 800 assists. He will attend Boston College.
PAUL CONWAY
LINCOLN-SUDBURY
Conway took home Dual County League MVP Thorpe Division honors as he averaged 15 points, six rebounds and three assists. In Lincoln-Sudbury’s state tournament upset over Arlington, Conway scored a game-high 19 points. Also a member of the soccer team, Conway is undecided on his plans after high school.
COLE CRAFFEY
OLIVER AMES
Craffey did it all for Oliver Ames as the Tigers reached the Div. 2 state semifinals. The senior point guard averaged 18.2 points and 5.4 rebounds per game to earn Hockomock League Davenport MVP honors. Craffey finished his career as a 1,000-point scorer. An honor roll student, he will continue his academic and playing career at Connecticut College.
MIKE DANKERT
Dankert finished his career in style by averaging 18.8 points, 9.7 rebounds and 5.4 assists per night. A three-time South Coast Conference All-Star, Dankert tallied 1,530 points during his varsity tenure. A member of the National Honor Society, Dankert will continue his playing career at Catholic University.
JAMES DINGMAN
Dingman was Arlington’s go-to option for a second straight season as he averaged 20 points and five rebounds a night. The two-time Middlesex League Liberty MVP, Dingman tallied 1,006 points for his career. He will continue his basketball career at Clarkson University.
Elie ensured that Braintree had one of its better seasons in program history. The Bay State Herget’s MVP, Elie led Braintree to a 19-win season and a spot in the Division 1 state quarterfinals. Elie is only a junior, assuring he will be one of the top returning MIAA players in the 2025-26 season.
CASON FAULK
BRIDGEWATER-RAYNHAM
Faulk helped Bridgewater-Raynham to have a breakout season as the junior tallied 13 points, five rebounds and three assists a night. His play earned him Southeastern Conference All-Star honors and led the Trojans to the Div. 1 state quarterfinals. Faulk hopes to play at the collegiate level.
JASAAD FENTON
Fenton was the top player in the Boston City League in 2025. The senior point guard averaged 19 points, 11 assists and three steals to lead the Bulldogs to a third consecutive Final Four appearance. Fenton, who finished his career with 83 wins, is undecided on his future plans.
JIMMY FARRELL
Behind the stellar play of Farrell, Masconomet had a season to remember. Farrell poured in 19 points a night to go with six assists and three steals to lead Masconomet to the Div. 2 state semifinals and its first league championship since 1997. A member of the National Honor Society, Farrell plays AAU for the New England Storm.
CARSON GRETZ
NEWBURYPORT
Gretz finished his tenure as the two-time Cape Ann League Player of the Year as the senior tallied 990 career points. An honor roll student throughout high school, Gretz is set to attend Phillips Exeter Academy for a postgraduate year. He plays for Middlesex Magic on the club basketball circuit.
GIOVANNI JEAN
Jean was a dynamic playmaker for Lynn Tech, earning Commonwealth Athletic Conference MVP honors. The junior guard averaged 21 points and six assists while also securing the 1,000th point of his career. Jean led Lynn Tech to a statement win over St. Mary’s to close the regular season. He is set to be one of the top returning guards in Eastern Mass.
J.J. MARTINEZ
It was another terrific year for St. Mary’s and Martinez was at the center of its success. The junior guard was the Catholic Central League MVP and tallied his 1,000th career point. Martinez plays for Middlesex Magic on the club basketball circuit and hopes to secure a playing opportunity at the collegiate level.
KINGSTON MAXWELL
Maxwell was one of the most prolific scorers in Eastern Mass. this winter as the junior averaged 22.5 points a night to go with seven rebounds. Maxwell scored 30 points or more four times while reaching the 15-point mark in 23 of 25 contests. Maxwell was the South Shore League Tobin Division Player of the Year.

NORTH QUINCY
Despite being a freshman, McGrath raised plenty of eyebrows by tallying 17 points and 8.5 rebounds per game. His efforts led North Quincy to the Patriot League Fisher title and earned him league MVP honors. McGrath’s 355 points were the most for a freshman in North Quincy program history.

MALDEN CATHOLIC
Nimaka dominated inside for Malden Catholic, putting up 14 points and 10 rebounds a night. His efforts earned him Catholic Conference all-star status and helped catapult the Lancers to a fourth consecutive state championship game appearance. Nimaka plays for Mass Rivals on the AAU basketball circuit.
JAKE OLMSTEAD
The definition of a “glue guy,” Olmstead was Franklin’s secret weapon as it took home the Div. 1 state title. Olmstead averaged 10 points, five rebounds, three assists and two steals a game to earn Hockomock League Kelley-Rex all-star honors. The senior is undecided on his college plans.
DYLAN PERRAULT
WHITMAN-HANSON
Perrault made his senior year one to remember as the forward averaged 18.2 points and eight rebounds to earn Patriot League Keenan MVP honors. A Patriot League scholar athlete in 2023 and 2024, Perrault is a member of the National Honor Society. Perrault plans to attend either Vanderbilt or Purdue and pursue a degree in mathematics or engineering.
TZAR POWELL-APARICIO
Powell-Aparicio left little doubt he was one of the top guards in Massachusetts. The senior averaged 23.5 points, 3.5 assists and 6.5 rebounds to lead Lowell to the Div. 1 state quarterfinals. Powell-Aparicio finished his career with 1,150 points and led Lowell to 20 wins. He will play basketball at Bridgewater State.
NATHAN REYNOLDS
Reynolds saved his best for last as the Bourne center was named South Coast Conference MVP for his senior year efforts. For the season, Reynolds averaged 20.9 points, 14.9 rebounds and 2.4 blocks per game. The two-time league MVP finished as the all-time leading scorer in Bourne program history.
Roux was a top perimeter threat for the Golden Warriors. The sophomore poured in 17 points a night to earn MVC first-team honors. Roux plays for Mass Rivals on the club basketball circuit and hopes in the future to secure a college basketball opportunity.
JONNY SULLIVAN
Sullivan helped Tewksbury have its best regular season in over a decade as the junior guard averaged 11.2 points, five assists and five rebounds a game. One year after missing his sophomore season due to injury, Sullivan earned MVC 2 Player of the Year honors as he led the Redmen to a 17-4 record and a league title. Sullivan plays for Mass Rivals on the club circuit.
SOMERSET BERKLEY
Taylor was a key piece in Somerset Berkley’s first state championship in over 70 years. The junior tallied 13.7 points per game while shooting 40 percent from beyond the arc. A South Coast Conference all-star, Taylor’s season followed up a sophomore campaign in which he scored 10 points a night. He is an honor roll student.
BOSTON LATIN
White was one of the premier players in the Dual County League in 2025 as the sophomore scored 17.9 points a game to take home the Foley Division’s MVP. His play led Boston Latin to one of its most successive regular seasons in school history as well as a spot in the Division 1 Round of 16. White will enter his junior year with 858 career points.
OLEKSANDR YUKYMCHAK
Yukymchak was a dominant force inside and on the glass for Norwood. The 6-foot-10, 220-pound center averaged 15 points and 15 rebounds a night to earn the TVL Large’s MVP award. Yukymchak led Norwood to a pair of state tournament wins and the TVL Large title. Yukymchak is undecided on his future plans.
