After watching the Sunday game in the pub last night the gaffer switched over to the golf and there was Rory falling apart, the challengers were pulling away from him and most of us thought he had blown it. One punter said no, this is a fighter and he will turn it around, and sure enough on the back 9 he just ramped it up and played brilliantly.
The sign of a real champion, well done Rory.

Good performance again today from Rory in the Ryder cup , showing exactly why he the greatest layer on the planet right now, crushing Ricky Fowler.
Stenson after bottling it big time on the 18th to gift the United States their first point of the day.

All the hype about Gallagher. We'd have been far better off with Donald. But it made little difference in the end...

Very exciting finish to the Ryder Cup - some fantastic golf, amazing putting.
Well done McIlroy and McDowell.
I was fervently hoping Stenson would silence loud-mouth Reed.
It's looking like a great European win.

If Donaldson can hold on t his lead that should see Europe home.
But all the other matches are close and could go either way, but Donaldson one looks like doing it for Europe who only need one more point to win it outright again.

Jamie Donaldson, the Ryder Cup rookie, makes sure of it for Europe. Not a golfist. Don't watch it. But if they had this kind of format more often, I might be persuaded.

Not huge into the Golf myself but I like the Ryder Cup and always watch it.
Donaldson misses a put to win it but he is 4 up with 4 to play so the draw is now secured and he just needs to half another hole to win it for Europe.

Seriously though two golf majors easily thumps F1 title where basically Hamilton only had to beat his team mate so superior was his car over all the other teams. Clearly English finalists have a big advantage.

Rory McIlroy’s case against his former management company Horizon Sports Management has been settled.
As part of the agreement, it is understood the golfer will pay the firm more than $25 million (€21.8 million) and possibly up to $30 million (€26.2 million), plus costs, as part of the settlement.

He can pay for it from the interest of his Nike deal, he's safe enough.

The death knell for "Dublin based " sports management companies, in the International arena I would have thought. Horizon and Conor Ridge in particular.
Screwing your most famous client for £16.5 million, should ease the pain though.
