BRENDAN RODGERS is on the cusp of securing another domestic treble with Celtic. But could it be the last act of his second spell in charge of the Hoops? Rodgers rejoined Celtic in 2023 after Ange Postecoglou quit to move to Tottenham. Having dominated Scottish football during his first spell in charge between 2016 and 2019, he picked up where he left off by delivering a league and cup double in his first season back. The League Cup is already in the bag this season and the Scottish Premiership title could be secured this weekend. With a Scottish Cup Final against Aberdeen to come in a month too, Rodgers will fancy his chances of landing all three domestic trophies this season. The 52-year old's first stint as Celts boss came to a controversial end when he walked away mid-season to take over at Leicester. His future is once again a topic of discussion as he prepares to enter the final year of his three-year contract. Could another return to the English Premier League be on the horizon? Well, with his under-fire Hoops predecessor Postecoglou set to leave Spurs, Rodgers' name has been floated as a potential successor there. Now, there's talk another Premier League job could be about to become available. Leeds United have just secured promotion back to the top tier. However, just a day after promotion was confirmed, it emerged that the Whites were considering REPLACING manager Daniel Farke. The German boss has been promoted out of the Championship on three occasions, twice with Norwich and now with Leeds. But the Leeds owners - 49ers Enterprises who are about to take control at Rangers - are understood to be concerned about Farke's record when it comes to the top flight. No decision has been made but the Elland Road outfit are looking at other potential options. Farke's future was discussed on this morning's talkSPORT Breakfast show, hosted by Celtic-daft Alan Brazil and ex-England striker Gabby Agbonlahor. And Hoops fan Brazil made a suggestion that will no doubt leave Celtic fans rather unhappy. He suggested Brendan Rodgers as a potential successor to Farke at Leeds and admitted he wouldn't be surprised if he ISN'T the Hoops manager next season. Brazil said: "Here's one for you now - Celtic fans will hate me for this - what about Brendan Rodgers at Leeds? "Brendan's going to win the treble and he might think 'I've done it again with Celtic, do I want a move?' "We're talking about the Tottenham job could come up as well. I'm not 100 per-cent sure that Brendan will be the Celtic manager." Rodgers' future has been discussed by plenty of Hoops players in recent weeks. Alistair Johnston is among the Celtic stars to have publicly called on the boss to be given a new contract. Keep up to date with ALL the latest news and transfers at the Scottish Sun football page
