Bruno Fernandes and five Man Utd team-mates make feelings clear on Marcus Rashford

Marcus Rashford got responses from six Manchester United players including Bruno Fernandes following his debut for new club Aston Villa. Rashford, 27, joined Villa on loan earlier this month and will spent the remainder of this season in Birmingham. The move came about after missing United's previous 13 games under new manager Ruben Amorim, who criticised Rashford's performances in training. The 60-time England international made his long-awaited return to action when he came on for the final half an hour of Villa's 2-1 win at home to Tottenham in the FA Cup fourth round on Sunday. Rashford thanked Villa fans for the warm welcome, posting on Instagram after the match. Several current United players responded to his message. Fernandes, Leny Yoro, Luke Shaw, Andre Onana, Diogo Dalot and Matthijs de Ligt all 'liked' the post. Meanwhile, United winger Jadon Sancho took to the comments section. Sancho, who's spending this season on loan at Chelsea, wrote: "Freedom," a reply which has angered United fans. When Rashford signed for Villa on February 2, three United stars wished him well publicly. On Instagram, Shaw commented: "Good luck my bro", while Alejandro Garnacho said: "All the best Rash." Antony, also left United in the winter transfer window to join Real Betis on loan, added: "All the best brother". Rashford's 30-minute debut saw him complete two take-ons, win four of his six duels and boast a 93 per cent pass accuracy. Villa boss Unai Emery was impressed with his team's display once Rashford and fellow new signing Marco Asensio, on loan from Paris Saint-Germain, had been brought on. Will Marcus Rashford ever play for Manchester United again? Give us your prediction in the comments section. "How we were playing the last 30 minutes with Marco Asensio and Marcus Rashford was really good because we have to create again and build our team, progressing our structure as soon as possible, getting the performances like we did today," Emery hailed. Villa's move for Rashford will cost at least £3million in wages, covering much of the reported £325,000 per week which Rashford earns at United. Emery's side will have the option to buy Rashford for £40m when the summer transfer window opens. Amorim revealed after his departure was confirmed that the 27-year-old couldn't adapt to how he wanted United to play. "I couldn't put Marcus to see the way you're supposed to play football and to train the way I see it," the Red Devils manager, who was appointed in November, explained. "And sometimes you have one player that is really good with one coach, and the same player with another coach is different. I just wish the best to Rashford and to Unai Emery, and they can connect because he’s a very good player."
