@Source: newsweek.com
The Milwaukee Bucks and Phoenix Suns will clash on Tuesday night for the second and final time of the season.The Bucks will host the Suns on Tuesday, hoping to avoid the season series sweep. The two teams played against each other last week, with the Suns coming out on top in a thriller, 108-106.Two of the very best in the game today, Bucks' Giannis Antetokounmpo and the Suns' Kevin Durant, played well and led their teams in scoring.However, that won't be the case this time around for this matchup. Only one of the two will be on the court this time around.The Bucks have upgraded Antetokounmpo to available and will start. He entered Tuesday listed as probable before the Bucks upgraded his status.As for the Suns, they will be without Durant. The Suns ruled out Durant for not only tonight but for at least a week after he suffered a left ankle sprain.The Bucks continue to list Antetokounmpo on the injury report due to a left foot sprain, though he has only missed one game since the All-Star break.Despite dealing with the issue, the two-time MVP has remained dominant, averaging 30.4 points, 10.4 rebounds, 4.8 assists, and 1.0 steals per game over his last five outings while playing 33.2 minutes per contest.Set to appear in his 62nd game of the season, Antetokounmpo put up a strong performance in his most recent outing, though Milwaukee fell short against the Atlanta Hawks in a 145-124 loss. He finished with 31 points on 11-of-18 shooting, along with nine rebounds, five assists, and one steal in 30 minutes of action.Meanwhile, the Suns will be without their top player and future Hall of Famer. The 15-time All-Star exited Sunday's game in the third quarter after sustaining a left ankle sprain in a collision with Jabari Smith Jr.Durant logged 23 minutes before leaving the contest, contributing 11 points and eight rebounds.Currently, the Suns sit one game out of the final play-in spot. If Durant follows the expected recovery timeline, he could return by April 8, when Phoenix faces the Golden State Warriors. However, with a grueling schedule ahead and their star sidelined, the Suns will need a near-perfect run to secure a spot in the play-in tournament.The Bucks enter this match as the home favorites with a -5.5 spread.Milwaukee will look to capture their 41st win of the season, while the Suns will look to capture their 36th win.More NBA news: Kevin Durant Set to Miss Key Stretch for Suns Due to Significant InjuryJalen Brunson, Tyrese Maxey Status RevealedNBA Veteran PJ Tucker Signs Multi-Year Deal with KnicksFor more NBA news and rumors, stay tuned to Newsweek Sports.
