Drivers heading eastbound on Highway 1 through Kamloops are being warned to expect heavy congestion after a crash Monday afternoon. The crash happened at about 3:45 p.m. DriveBC said the incident is impacting eastbound traffic between Summit Drive and Vicars Road. Vehicles appear to be backing up west of the Peterson Creek bridge deck. Castanet Kamloops has reached out to BC Emergency Health Services and RCMP about the crash.
