Canelo faced vicious champion after outpointing Jake Paul’s next opponent

Canelo’s work was on a different level to that of Chavez, who had no real answer for the elite talent on display against him.
Alvarez, who could face Chris Eubank Jr. next year, cruised to a unanimous decision win over the bigger and taller man, winning unanimously with three identical cards of 120-108.
The win set up Canelo’s mega-fight with Gennady Golovkin, which ended in a controversial draw, with their rematch ending in an equally, if not more, controversial decision in the form of a win for Alvarez.
Chavez Jr. has fought seven times since, though has lost three of them. He lost a huge upset to 1-1 Anderson Silva, and MMA champion, in 2021.
Chavez Jr. has been announced as Jake Paul‘s next opponent.
Canelo has a chance to history in his next fight this Saturday
With his win over Caleb Plant, who won a world title for his late daughter, Canelo became the first ever undisputed super-middleweight champion in boxing.
Now, years later, he has the chance to do it all over again, and become the first ever two-time undisputed super-middleweight world champion against William Scull, who currently holds the IBF title.
