The streets of downtown Summit will be filled with a display of exotic and classic cars on June 15 for the annual Cars & Croissants event.
The event is planned from 8 a.m. to 11 a.m., and is expected to draw hundreds of car enthusiasts from across the region.
Organized by Summit Downtown, the car show will take place on Springfield Avenue, Beechwood Road, Bank Street, and Union Place.
For those interested in showing their vehicles, it is recommended to arrive by 7:30 a.m. to secure a spot.
The NJZClub, a local car enthusiast group, is planning to meet up beforehand at the Friday’s restaurant in the Route 22 Blue Star Shopping Center in Watchung at 7:15 a.m. and drive in together.
In addition to the car show, visitors can also enjoy the Summit Farmers Market, located at the corner of DeForest Ave. and Maple St. This provides a great opportunity for families to make a day of it, celebrating Father’s Day while taking in the sights of these remarkable automobiles.
Admission and parking for the Cars & Croissants event are free. However, in the event of inclement weather, the show will be canceled. For more information, visit the Summit Downtown website at SummitDowntown.org/events
