@Source: manchestereveningnews.co.uk
Neighbours woke up to carnage on a Manchester street after a car crashed into a garden wall. Emergency services were called out to Albert Road, in Levenshulme , at around 7am this morning (March 25). Images from the scene show the crash involved a blue Volkswagen Golf, which had crashed into a front garden wall. The car was seen with a smashed front bumper and damaged driver's door, while the rear of the car had collided with the wall. It's understood the Golf had been involved in a collision with a brown Ford Fiesta, which was also seen damaged at the scene. Bricks could be seen strewn on the pavement, with the wall severely damaged by the impact of the crash. A third car, a pale blue Volkswagen Golf, was also damaged during the collision. It's believed the car had been parked outside a house on Albert Road at the time of the crash. Officers managed traffic at the scene following the collision, before the cars involved were recovered. Greater Manchester Police said it was called out to reports of a vehicle colliding with a wall on Albert Road at around 7am. Fortunately, no injuries were reported following the smash, according to GMP. --- Day in day out, our reporters in the Manchester Evening News newsroom bring you remarkable stories from all aspects of Mancunian life.
