The town of Catral is implementing brand new measures to ensure that their streets are receiving the maintenance they need in the brunt of the summer months. The advanced cleaning service will improve the quality of the cleaning, as well as the efficiency and implement a more eco-friendly approach to the town’s maintenance. The new service will be managed by part of the Hozono Global Group, Actúa, and will see a more modern, effective, and environmentally friendly model that is also adjusted to the town’s needs. Six more cleaning professionals will also join the team, to ensure a more widespread and thorough cleaning service across the whole town. Among the new and improved updates are manual sweeping with bins 365 days a year, motorised sweeping vehicles, blowers, pressure washing even on holidays and market days, and weed removal. The measure will also implement sustainable machinery that will reduce noise pollution and emissions, which will be a major step forward for the town’s eco-friendly goals, but also make it easier to operate in densely-populated areas, especially during the summer. Additionally, vacuum machines, electric support vehicles, and biodegradable cleaning products will also be introduced, as well as recycled bags to collect waste. Moreover, the service will be managed via an up-to-date app that allows GPS tracking to ensure the most efficient cleaning service for the citizens of Catral.
