Celebrity Traitors cast touch down in Scotland as they head to castle to film
@Source: dailystar.co.uk
The Celebrity Traitors cast have touched down in Scotland to start filming the BBC show. Names including Tom Daley, Jonathan Ross, Paloma Faith and Alan Carr arrived at Inverness Airport to head to the iconic Traitors castle. There, they will take part in sneaky tasks and scheming to figure out who among them are Faithfuls or Traitors. Earlier this week, the cast was photographed arriving in Scotland to take part in the scheming show. Among those pictured were Tom, Jonathan, Paloma, Alan, Charlotte Church, Stephen Fry and David Olusoga. But that's not them all, as some other huge names have been linked to the show. The full line-up for the show was revealed this week, though the likes of Stephen and Alan had been rumoured since last year. Celebrity Traitors will be comedian Alan's first reality show, despite having a career spanning years in television. Similarly, Olympic diver Tom has turned down other huge shows like strictly -come-dancing> Strictly Come Dancing and I'm a Celebrity ... Get Me Out of Here! and opted for Celebrity Traitors instead. It's the same for singer Paloma, who has an incredible music career but has yet to appear on a reality show. It's reported she's hoping it will show fans another side to her. Meanwhile, Celebrity Traitors will be a step back into the public eye for Charlotte, who in recent years ditched fame to run a wellness retreat in her home country of Wales. Historian David may be a new face to many, however he's written a number of best-selling books and was awarded an OBE in 2019. Telly host Jonathan will be switching sides for a change, after usually hosting shows or being a judge, like on The Masked Singer . The full line-up also includes Brit Award nominated singer Cat Burns, who is known to fans as a super-fan of Traitors, often discussing the show on social media. Good Morning Britain host Kate Garraway will also be making the jump from ITV to BBC to take part. It's far from her first reality show, but after a tough few years with the death of her husband, it'll surely bring some fun for her. Actress Celia Imrie, known for roles in movies such as Calendar Girls and Bridget Jones' Diary, will be taking part, and was reportedly excited to get started. She'll be joined by fellow actress Tameka Empson, who is best recognised as Kim Fox on EastEnders . Irish actress Ruth Codd, who had her right leg amputated after a foot injury, is set to join the fun before making her film debut in How To Train Your Dragon, released later this year. Line of Duty star Mark Bonnar and Ted Lasso's Nick Mohammed round out the line-up of actors. After a difficult time in her personal life, following the end of her marriage to husband Jon Richardson, comedian Lucy Beamount has also signed up. She was one of the later additions to the cast, revealed just days before filming started. Another comedian taking part is Joe Wilkinson, who also recently appeared on Prime Video series Last One Laughing. Television legend Clare Balding will be giving up presenting too to get involved in the fun. The Sun reported she'd signed back in October, with a source saying: "No one really believes that the Beeb's dependable, sensible face of sport could be a treacherous liar". Also from a sporting background is Joe Marler. The rugby player is said to want to show the public he's more than just a sportsman. Finally, YouTube prankster Niko Omilana will be getting up to mischief and is sure to bring a younger audience with him. Want all the biggest Showbiz and TV news straight to your inbox?
