My deepest condolences and prayers.” Sidharth Malhotra, currently in Kerala for a film shoot, condemned the attack, stating, “This cowardly act will not go unanswered. Not now. Not ever,” he posted on X. Goswami added, “Murdering innocent civilians seems to be their national sport. And if that’s how they play — then it’s time we respond in a language they truly understand. Not with bats and balls. But with resolve. With dignity. With zero tolerance.” Goswami also shared a personal memory. “Just a few months ago, I was in Kashmir… I walked through Pahalgam, met the locals, saw hope returning to their eyes. It felt like peace had finally found its way back.”The attack has prompted strong reactions from the cricketing world. Team India cricketer Virat Kohli joined a growing list of voices from the sports fraternity. In a post on Instagram, Kohli called the incident “heinous” and extended his condolences to the victims’ families. “Deeply saddened by the heinous attack in Pahalgam on innocent people. Heartfelt condolences to the families of the victims. Praying for peace and strength to families of all those who lost their lives and justice to be served for this cruel act,” Kohli wrote.Former cricketer Yuvraj Singh also responded with a message of solidarity. “Deeply saddened by the attack on tourists in Pahalgam.
