FEYENOORD have sacked head coach Brian Priske just two days before the Champions League play-offs.
The Dutch side face AC Milan in the first knockout round of the tournament after finishing 19th in the league phase.
The club confirmed the decision with an extremely blunt statement.
It read: "Brian Priske part ways with immediate effect
"Feyenoord is saying goodbye to head coach Brian Priske in good consultation.
"Very inconsistent results and a lack of chemistry are reasons for the departure of the head coach.
"Assistant coaches Lukas Babalola Andersson and Bjorn Hamberg are also leaving the club with immediate effect.
"Feyenoord expects to be able to appoint an interim staff tomorrow."
Feyenoord's general and technical director Dennis te Kloese
He said: "It is very disappointing for all parties that we had to come to this decision.

"Although Feyenoord has certainly achieved impressive results with Brian in the Uefa Champions League, the past few months have been far too inconsistent and we unfortunately see too little structural progress.
"As a professional and as a person, I still hold Brian in high regard.
"Sometimes, however, you have to conclude that despite everyone's good intentions and intentions, it does not work, and at a certain point there is no longer enough support within all levels to continue."
Feyenoord ended the Champions League league phase with a shock 6-1 defeat to French outfit Lille.
However, the side did pick up impressive wins over Bayern Munich and Sparta Praha as well as a 3-3 draw against Manchester City.
Domestically, the team has failed to hit its expected heights and sits 5th in the Eredivisie.
The club has only won 11 of 21 league games and are 12 points behind leaders Ajax.
Feyenoord will now have to prepare for the Champions League play-off clash against Milan without Priske.
They face the Italians in Holland on Wednesday before the away leg at the San Siro on February 18.
