Reality TV star Charlotte Crosby has announced her intention to retire from unscripted television, 14 years after making her debut on Geordie Shore. Since her early days of wild antics in her 20s, the 34 year old has become a familiar face, launching her own fashion line and becoming a mother to two young daughters, Alba, two, and Pixi, one month old. She's appeared in numerous TV shows such as Celebrity Big Brother, Just Tattoo Of Us and Charlotte's New Baby, which premieres today on Paramount+. Now, she's ready to step back from the small screen and focus on building her fortune through her business, Pepper Girls Club. "There's no reality shows trying to sign us up. I just don't think I can be bothered unless it was something that was a really good pay and I could still see my children really frequently. I just don't have any interest," she revealed in a recent interview. She added to The Sun: "I think my heart is at just really doing the absolute best with my business and being in a position to never have to do TV again. Put that as the headline. I'm quitting TV." She further stated, "I'm really not bothered about it now. I don't care. I just want to live my life. I just want to make successful businesses and live my life." Another factor influencing her decision is the desire to protect the privacy of her daughters, Alba and Pixi. She continued: "Listen, I love to do it, but I've got a family now. There'll be a point where I don't want to have my children on reality TV when they get to an age where they can be recognised and where they've got their full adult looks." Charlotte is focused on ensuring her children can grow up without the pressures of public recognition. "I just want them to have the choice to live a life where people don't really recognise them. So, that is my aim. I don't worry in any way about the reaction to it." Her new series reveals the intimate moments before Pixi's arrival, granting viewers behind-the-scenes access to Charlotte's family dynamics and her engagement with Jake Ankers. The reality TV star's authenticity shines through in this raw and honest portrayal which includes laughter, tears, and inevitable tantrums. Documenting everything from running her own business to personal milestones, Charlotte doesn't shy away from the hard work or the high stakes involved – even sharing worries about potential bankruptcy due to her business endeavours. The narrative also follows the couple as they enjoy a luxurious trip to the Maldives for a grand gender reveal party for their baby-a celebration that hits a snag when friends who know the baby's gender face travel delays. Viewers will also witness the harrowing experience of a break-in that left Charlotte devastated, something she felt was vital to share. She believes in transparency, expressing, "I think it's important to show what's actually happening," confirming the candidness of her fly-on-the-wall series. Like this story?
